Tutoring at Xiaobang Li Art Studio is for two types of person (and the in-between).

For those who want to develop a strong foundation in realistic and naturalistic drawing and painting. Through classical academic training, master studies, and an understanding of the philosophy behind great art, you'll learn not just how to make convincing work, but why it works.
2. The Art Enthusiast
For those who want to unwind after work or school, reconnect with their creativity, and immerse themselves in the wonder of art. Explore beautiful master copies inspired by the great traditions of Western art — from the Renaissance to Impressionism and beyond — while learning, experimenting, enjoying the process, you also end up with a beautiful and meaningful piece for your own space or loved ones.
And Everyone In Between
You are not sure if you want go through the rigorous training, but you also want do more than copying a pretty painting. Perhaps you're curious about different styles, eager to explore colour, or simply looking for a creative practice of your own.
Learn from Life
I advocate painting from life to build up your fundamentals. Help you to notice, to see, and to effectively translate what’s in front of you onto a 2D surface.
Learn from Masters
Doing master copies that were distilled by time - is one of the best ways to improve your skills! Not only will you learn visual languages of the old masters, you will also end up with a copy of the painting of the artist you like for your home!
Learn to See
Art is more than the ability to draw what’s in front of you. It’s learning to notice what others might overlook: the harmony of colours, the rhythm of shapes, and the beauty hidden in ordinary things.

Cancellation Policy
To maintain a professional and respectful learning environment, the following cancellation policy applies:
1. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Students are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur the full lesson fee.
2. Illness or Emergencies
In the case of sudden illness or genuine emergencies, students are asked to contact the instructor as soon as possible. Exceptions to the above policies may be granted at the instructor’s discretion.
3. Instructor Cancellations
Should the instructor need to cancel a lesson for any reason, students will be offered either a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.
4. Monthly Payments
Monthly package spot holders shall make the payment within the first week of the month.
